Opening Day ... May the Fourth ... Be With Us

Please join us for the start of our 4th Season!  Gorman Heritage Farm will join us with some of their new baby animals.  We will also have a special theme; can you guess what it is?  (hint:  bring your lightsaber)

Second Tuesday Chef

Todd Hudson, Chef / Owner of Wildflower Cafe, Mason (www.wildflowercafeandcoffeehouse.com)
From 5 - 7 pm, Todd will show and sample how he uses seasonal, local produce in his wonderful meals.  Todd, who was recently named a Top 40 Chef Under 40 by the Mother Nature Network, and his wife own and operate the friendly cafe.  Todd uses locally, thoughtfully grown produce and meats for most of his menu.  The salads are brightly flavorful, the desserts heavenly, and the burger is a rock star!  Save room for coffee with your dessert-it's roasted by La Terza.

Stop by the Special Events Tent between 3:30 and 4:30 and sign up for the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County's summer reading program:  "Summer Reading 2010 - Lights! Camera! READ!"

David Cook from Daveed's will be with us for the opening bell (www.daveeds.net

Chef and owner of Daveed’s @934, David Cook, began his restaurant career at fifteen bussing tables and washing dishes at the historic 20 Mile House Restaurant in Loveland, Ohio.  David has been the driving force behind making Daveed’s nationally noteworthy.  The success afforded to Daveed’s was based on David’s persistence.  He knew that upscale yet comfortable dining with professional service and exceptional food was bound to find its way to smaller venues.  David beat the rush and paved the way for other restaurants to follow.
