Winter Market

How It Works

 

Overview:

 

- We will post an updated product and price list on the Thursday before each pick-up date.

- An email message will be sent to our mailing list when the updated product and price list has been posted.

- Place your order by noon on the Saturday before the pick-up date.

- You will receive a confirmation message with a final total and Wyoming pick-up location for your order
   on Monday.

- Bring your payment (exact change in cash or a check payable to Wyoming Ave. Farmers' Market) with
  you on Tuesday. 

- Pick up your products.

- Initial the Pick-Up List (to acknowledge receipt).

- Deposit payment in the lockbox.

- Enjoy your favorite products from Wyoming Ave. Farmers’ Market vendors all winter!

 

 

Here are the details: 

 

Order Process:

 

You place your order by sending an email to orders@WyomingAveFarmersMarket.com.  Please be sure to indicate the vendor’s name for each product you are ordering.  It is likely that we will have similar products available from multiple vendors this winter.

 

When you order by email, you will receive an automated confirmation that we have received your email message.

 

Unless otherwise noted, all orders must be received by noon on the Saturday before the pick-up date.  This allows ample time for us to process the order, send you a confirmation, and forward the order to the appropriate vendor(s).

 

On Monday, you will receive a second email indicating the items that you have ordered as well as the total amount due.  Please be sure to double-check this email message in case you ordered a product in short supply and it is no longer available.  If you do not receive a confirmation message with your order total by 8 pm on Monday, please contact us immediately.  Products with a limited supply will be indicated on the product/pricelist.  Please be sure to include orders@WyomingAveFarmersMarket.com in your contact list so that our messages are not marked as Spam.

 

 

Pick-up Process:

 

Orders will be ready for pick-up by 2 pm on Springfield Pike in Wyoming (exact address to be sent in your confirmation message).  Products will be placed on the right-side front porch and labeled by vendor and, sometimes, by shopper.  All orders must be picked up by 6 pm.  Any orders not picked up by 7 pm of the pick-up date may be donated to charity.  If you are unable to personally pick up your order, you may have a representative retrieve and pay for your order.  Please be sure to explain the pick-up process to your representative.

 

When you arrive:

- do not park in any driveways,

- retrieve your purchases from the appropriately labeled boxes or coolers,

- initial the Pick-Up form (attached to the clipboard), and

- drop your payment into the mailbox attached to the swing.

 

You may pay for your order two ways:

- in cash (exact change required)

- by personal check* payable to Wyoming Ave. Farmers’ Market.  Please do not make checks payable
  to individual vendors.
